FAQs

  • Flights, alcohol, and extra activities/excursions are not included.

  • Traveling to Blue Osa is such a fun adventure in itself. You should plan to fly into San Jose (SJO) on your international flight. From there, you will need to take a small local flight to Porto Jiminez (PJM). The small flight will provide you with incredible views of the Costa Rican landscape and coastline. It is an incredible expereince.

Blue Osa will arrange your airport transfers on arrival and departure. It will take approximately 30 minutes on bumpy dirt roads to get from the airport to the resort.

We are happy to help you with your travel details, and we will hold a group zoom approximately 4 months prior to the retreat to answer any questions that come up for you. Blue Osa also has its own travel service and will happily assist you with bookings.

  • Consider yourself a beginner?! Amazing! Yoga and movement classes are designed for all levels.

  • Yes! Please do! Signing up or a retreat solo can be intimidating! It is a hug leap! But I honestly encourage that you come alone. There is something really beautiful about the initial shyness when we arrive to a new space and meet new people. It’s so incredible to watch this transform over the week (the first day or two, honestly)

The experience is what you want it to be. If you prefer to ride solo and spend free time turning inward, reading, journaling, and napping, go for it! You don’t need to be a social butterfly! But if you are looking for deep, life-long connection and socialization, then this is also for you.

  • Yes, alcohol is available for purchase at the resort.

  • Your $500 deposit is non-refundable. Any payment you make is non-refundable thereafter. If you let us know 4 weeks prior to your next payment that you need to cancel then let us know ASAP. Please download and read the brochure carefully before booking your spot.

  • Yes! There will be extra activities and excursions like ziplining, boat and dolphin watching tour, sloth farm, etc. These will be available to chose from when we get to the resort.

  • Nothing is required! If you’d rther sleep in and not take morning yoga, or if you’d rather lounge by the pool or beach than participate in a workshop, then the choice is yours. This is truly what you make it.

Please carefully read our brochure before booking your spot.

A note from your hosts

This past winter, Elise and I (Carley) traveled to Costa Rica for a retreat. We stayed at Blue Osa, the center we will be staying at for our retreat, and it was the most memorable, replenishing, and transformative week. Every detail of Blue Osa is absolutely perfect: the kindest staff ever, the deeply nourishing meals, the wildlife (we saw monkeys right outside of our shower, birds of all kind perched on the palm trees outside of the yoga studio, a mother and baby whale (!!), dolphins), the private beach that you can walk for miles, the best massage of our lives, and everything in between. There is not a morning that goes by that I don’t wish I was tiptoeing down the stone path to the beach with my cup of Costa Rican coffee and journal to watch the sunrise. For some reason, we all woke up easily at 5am with enough time to see the sun rise above the mountains, journal, swim, and have our coffee and fruit before morning yoga. Our circadian rhythms were humming with joy.

Elise and I knew that we had to one day return back and lead our own retreat there. We snagged one of the last week’s that Bleu Osa had available during their most beautiful season and began the planning from there—and we knew we had to bring our friend, TCM practitioner, herbalist, acupuncturist, reiki healer, and Rebirthing Breathwork facilitator with us—to create The Reclamation Retreat.

We can not wait to share our favorite place in the world with you.
